Q. Why list through multiple markets?
Every listing market has its own set of customers — many music lovers may shop only
their favorite online store. So it's beneficial to list your items through as many
markets as possible for maximum visibility to potential buyers.
Q. Do I need a MusicStack, Discogs, or eBay account to use MyGoDot?
No, but it is highly recommended to get the most value out of the service. While
with Full Business Integration, you can list just to your own website, that is not
really the intent behind MyGoDot. One of the greatest benefits of MyGoDot is the
ability to list one time and have your item appear in multiple online markets.
Q. Why use MyGoDot?
We can help you show your inventory to more people than anyone else, which WILL
increase your sales. Also our patent-pending listing interfaces are the fastest
way to list your items.
Q. What operating systems does MyGoDot work on?
MyGoDot is website where you manage your listings so it works on all major web browsers for any operating system.
Q. Can I have multiple people list on my MyGoDot account at the same time?
Yes.
Q. Can I use my existing Endicia account to print labels using MyGoDot?
No. You need to have a special Label Server Account to print shipping labels through
MyGoDot. We partner with Endicia to bring you even greater savings — $15.95 or $34.95
per month vs. $50 a month. To realize these savings, you need to close your existing
Endicia account and sign up for a new account through MyGoDot. You will still be
able to use the Endicia service as you do today; you will just be adding the ability
to integrate your MyGoDot and Endicia accounts.
Q. How long does it take, on average, to list one item through MyGoDot?
It only takes about a minute to list each item. That’s 60 items an hour! Or, with
Platinum Lister status, you can use our import feature to import your inventory
and have it all listed with your new look and feel in the time it takes to upload
and process the file.
Q. I already have a Discogs / MusicStack / eBay / Google Products account. Do I
need to sign up again to use your program?
No. Simply enter your current account information into our secure system and MyGoDot
will take care of linking to your current accounts.
Q. I’m not sure what service level is right for me.
Basic Lister — Recommended for casual sellers to list a variety of media items
to eBay only.
Silver Lister — Recommended for casual sellers who want to list on eBay only,
but a little more quickly than with the Basic account.
Gold Lister — Recommended for occassional media listers who want fast, easy
listing with more visibility, including eBay, MusicStack, and future affiliate sites.
Platinum Lister — Recommended for part- to full-time media listers who want
speedy listing of large inventory to multiple online markets; includes inventory
management.
Full Business Integration — Recommended for small business owners who sell
anything through our affiliates or other online markets. We work with you to create
a customized software workflow tailored to your business, with fully integrated
order fulfillment management and sales reports.
Q. Do I still need to use my eBay / MusicStack / Discogs account to manage my sales?
Yes. MyGoDot is a listing only tool, and cannot be used to manage sales. A Full
Business Integration account does provide the ability to manage your orders and
fulfillment on one site where possible.
Q. Why can't I use MyGoDot to manage my orders and feedback?
Most of our affiliates do not offer an API for us to access that information on
their systems. We are working with them to bring that functionality in the future.
Q. Who do I contact if my eBay / MusicStack / Discogs account is closed?
Contact them directly. Your accounts with our affiliates need to be in good standing
in order for your MyGoDot listings to show.
Q. I have an existing website or need a full turnkey solution. Do you offer that?
Yes. We offer a turnkey website to run your business. It includes full order and
shipping management, along with integrated inventory and sales management. With
the turnkey solution, MyGoDot manages your site and pays for hosting. And we will
work with you to build custom business rules that can make your business flow the
way you like to do things.
Q. I changed my eBay user ID. Do I have to update it in MyGoDot?
Yes. After logging into your account, go to My Account >
Manage Passwords, and follow the directions to update your eBay account.
